Eat Sleep Wild Menu

We love to cook! We offer home cooked meals and other foodie specialties for our guests at the Old School Byre. We cook in small batches from scratch with fresh ingredients. We update our menu regularly depending on the season and what we happen to be enjoying at the moment.

Contact us to pre-order, ideally at least a week ahead of arrival. For meals, please specify when you’d like your meal delivered (preferably between 5-7pm). Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash upon your arrival.

Note: sometimes we’re off on our own adventures but can arrange for pre-prepped frozen meals to be provided for you to heat up at your leisure. Get in touch with us asap before your trip to check our availability and make arrangements!

Indian Curry Night

Red lentil dal; cardamom rice; roti; veggie of the day; assorted chutneys and pickles

Middle Eastern Mezze

Falafel; traditionally made hummus with garnishes; veggie of the day; flatbread

Scottish Supper #1

Award winning Cockburn haggis; peppercorn sauce; potato salad; seasonal slaw

Scottish Supper #2

Locally sourced venison burgers with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles; chips; seasonal slaw; all the fixings!

Treats

Chocolate brownies – £5 for two brownies

Mint chocolate chip ice cream (garden mint with dark chocolate) – £5 per 250ml tub

Homemade Pickles and Preserves:

£3 small jar / £4 bigger small jar

Marmalade – Bitter Seville orange style

Hot Giardiniera – Chicago style addictive mixed vegetable pickle

Salsa macha – Literally “macho salsa”, made from dried Mexican chillies.

Breakfast basket – homemade loaf of bread, 6 eggs, butter, milk – £15

Full Scottish breakfast basket – All of the above plus locally sourced sausage and black pudding – £25
